Here's what the arrest report says

Just got back from the UConn police department. According to the arrest report, at 12:21 a.m. this morning (Tuesday) police were dispatched to the Hilltop Apartment Complex near the area of the French Building for a reported fight in progress. After a brief investigation, it was determined that Jerome Williams and Dave Teggart were involved in the fight. Both were arrested and, charged with second degree breach of peace. Each was released on a $500 bond, and will appear in court on Oct. 12.

Edsall wasn't overly concerned, "it's the stuff kids will do", in fact sounding frustrated that the police had to be involved at all. He said he would handle it internally (from the football end). "I hope they take that aggression on the field rather that with each other," Edsall said. "They got into a spat with each other, and nowadays as we all know, whenever there's a spat, they don't just tell you to go home. You get arrested."

"When something like that happens, between themselves, and no one else was involved, they're at play. And I'll handle it. It'll be handled quite well. ... It was something very silly and very, very childish. Just say that. My brother and I used to get in fights, and you know what we did? We put the boxing gloves on, and slugged it out. You can't do that stuff nowadays. Guess what? You're going to have arguments when guys are on a team. A guy pushing, a guy doing this, whatever. Just crazy stuff that kids will do. You talk to them all the time, but they're kids. I don't like what happened, but at least there was no one else involved. No one got hurt, no black eyes. Just a cat fight."

"Just a catfight."

A catfight? Tells me something about how the coach views the toughness of his players.

Too funny.
