A few changes on depth chart
UConn's depth chart for Maryland game is out.
There were three changes of note. First, freshman Tim Boyle is listed as the co-No. 2 quarterback with redshirt freshman Casey Cochran. Cochran was listed as the No. 2 QB heading into the season opener.
At receiver, with the knee suffered by second stringer Kamal Abrams, John Green moved into the two deep while at cornerback Tyree Clark is now listed as the primary backup Byron Jones. David Stevenson had previously held that spot.
Also, the New York Jets announced through its Twitter account that former UConn linebacker Danny Lansanah was released after the team signed quarterback Brady Quinn. Lansanah originally made the team out of training camp but was released and then signed to the practice squad. When the Jets cut Quinn a few days before the season opener, Lansanah was promoted from practice squad to the active roster. However, Lansanah was inactive for Sunday's season-opening win over Tampa Bay.
