Former UConn LB Lansanah back on Jets squad
It looks like former UConn linebacker Danny Lansanah will be on the New York Jets opening-game roster after all.
Lansanah survived the final cuts and was on the active roster but was released and then signed to the practice squad when the Jets claimed running back Alex Green and linebacker Scott Solomon of waivers on Sept. 1.
The Jets announced through its official Twitter feed that it released quarterback Brady Quinn and promoted Lansanah to the active roster.
