UConn picked last in AAC East Division
UConn was picked to finish last in the six-team American Athletic Conference East Division in a balloting of 30 media members.
Cincinnati was the overwhelming pick to win the East Division, receiving 29 of the 30 first-place votes followed by Central Florida, Temple, East Carolina, South Florida and UConn.
In the West Division it was a little closer as Memphis picked up 13 first-place votes, Houston had 10 No. 1 votes and Navy was picked first in seven ballots. Tulane, SMU and Tulsa round out the predicted order of finish in the West Division.
