UConn alumni report: Week 13

A couple of former UConn stars saved their best for last to lead their teams to much-needed victories.

Donald Brown, who replaced an ineffective Trent Richardson as the featured back, had six carries for 46 yards including a 4-yard touchdown during an 11-play, 92-yard drive that pushed a one-point lead to an eight-point advantage and had 49 of his 54 rushing yards in the fourth quarter as the Indianapolis Colts defeated Tennessee 22-14 to open up a three-game lead in the AFC South Division.

Robert McClain forced a fumble from Buffalo receiver Steve Johnson which was recovered by teammate William Moore in the final minute of the fourth quarter to keep the Bills from being able to attempt a game-winning field goal. Atlanta would eventually win 34-31 in overtime to snap a five-game losing streak.
