One of the sources I have checked in this week regarding the UConn football coaching search believed former UConn assistant coach Joe Moorhead would be the best hire for UConn.

I'm not sure it was going to happen as UConn set their sights on candidates like Ball State head coach Pete Lembo and Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi, but now you can pretty much cross his name off the list as Fordam signed Moorhead to an extension through the 2021 season.

Also, Pete Roussel from the www.coachingsearch.com recently tweeted that Narduzzi impressed the UConn administration during his interview with UConn.
