Moore shines in Senior Bowl
Former UConn linebacker Sio Moore had a sack and finished with six tackles (including two for losses)in Saturday's Senior Bowl.
Moore was a mid-week replacement for his former college teammate Trevardo Williams, who suffered a sprained ankle early in the week.
Former Husky Blidi Wreh-Wilson started at cornerback and was credited with two tackles and a pss breakup while fellow former Connecticut cornerback Dwayne Gratz had a four tackles.
Moore, Wreh-Wilson and Gratz all played for the North team which lost to the South 21-16.
Meriden's John Jenkins out of the University of Georgia got the start at defensive tackle for the South but did not register a tackle. He did get pressure on North quarterbacks on a couple of occasions but no quarterback hurries were recorded for any player in the game.
