Jennings won't play against NC State

UConn defensive end Ted Jennings will not play in Saturday's game against North Carolina State according to head coach Paul Pasqualoni.

Pasqualoni said on the weekly Big East call that they are going to let Jennings' injured left knee to "calm down" before having his knee reexamined next week.

Pasqualoni also made some minor changes to the two-deep chart. The only change among the starters from the pre-game depth chart against UMass is that Geremy Davis moved ahead of Shakim Phillips at receiver. On the offensive line there was some shifting around among the second stringers. Tyler Bullock moves from No. 2 left guard to being the backup center, Tyler Samra is the No. 2 guy at left guard while Dalton Gifford is second at left tackle.

On defense, the absence of Jennings means that freshman E.J. Norris is now listed as a backup DE while the departure of Gilbert Stlouis at safety resulted in Jordan Floyd cracking the two-deep.
