Think you know the Big East?

Who's got the best handle on the Big East this week? Take the Malafronte challenge. Below are the conference games this week, with the point spread. Post your picks below. Can you beat me? Probably.

Game 1: Pitt (-8) over CINCINNATI
Game 2: RUTGERS (-10.5) over Illinois
Game 3: Louisville (-40.5) over TEMPLE

Penn State is getting 7.5? That is the LOCK of the week. Has anyone been paying attention to the way ND played at the end of last year or this year's GA Tech game? They're completely overrated.

Now, they could beat UConn by 75 points, but then again, who couldn't? Here's Vin's picks:
1. Pitt -8 over Cincy
2. Illinois +10.5 over Rutgers
3. Temple +40.5 over Louisville
4. Syracuse +19.5 over Iowa
5. Penn St. +7.5 over ND
6. Clemson -3 over BC
7. Colorado +2.5 over CO st.
8. Minnesota +8.5 over Cal
9. The USC +3.5 over GA
10. Texas -3 over Ohio St.

Did anyone else notice that last week EVERY Big East team covered the spread?

Vinny thinks Penn State could beat UConn by 75 points, and apparently just about everyone else can beat them too? Vinny, where have you been lately, in a cave? These are not your father's Huskies.

Vinny,

I did notice the Big East teams all covered last week. I nailed a sweet parlay in Vegas on it. My picks are all the reverse of Vinny's for the entire year. The Irish are gonna run all over Penn St. As long as Jay Paterno is running the offense Penn St ain't goin' nowhere.

Vinny knows nothing about football, there's a stunner.

Who would expect a Boston College fan to know about it?
