Maryland DB commits to UConn

According to his Twitter account, defensive back Justice Pettus-Dixon out of St. Frances Academy in Baltimore has committed to UConn.

Proud to say that i am officially committed to the university of Connecticut 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 #GoHuskiesskies
The 247sports.com recruiting database lists offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Marshall and North Carolina State for Pettus-Dixon.

I haven't seen any stats from his junior season but here is a video of Pettus-Dixon recording a sack from the St. Frances Academy team site. He attended U.S. Army National Combine in January and was named to the first team all-star squad on defense.

It wasn't all good news coming out of Maryland as Nevonne McCrimmon, a running back out of Mount St. Joseph in Baltimore, tweeted a few minutes ago that he committed to Toledo over UConn.
