UConn's Donohue heading to Eagles rookie camp

Add linebacker Ryan Donohue to the list of UConn products heading to rookie camp this weekend.

There are multiple reports of Donohue being one of seven undrafted players earning tryouts with the Eagles.

#Eagles will have 7 tryout players participating in rookie camp this weekend: LB Blaze Caponegro, TE Jamie Childers, LB Ryan Donohue ...

Donohue becomes the sixth player from the 2013 UConn team to earn invites to NFL rookie camps. Defensive tackle Shamar Stephen was taken by Minnesota in the seventh round, linebacker Yawin Smallwood was a seventh-round pick by Atlanta, defensive ends Jesse Joseph and Tim Willman earned tryouts with Chicago and Jacksonville and offensive guard Steve Greene got a tryout with the Washington Redskins.

By my count that makes 14 UConn players getting into NFL camps over the last two years including 10 on the defensive side of the ball. Add in that tight end John Delahunt and defensive end Teddy Jennings and that brings the number to 16 players in pro camps including 11 defensive players.
