UConn commit goes for NY Federation title
Jordan Fuchs' future sport in college will be football as he signed to be a tight end at UConn but before he competes for playing time on the gridiron, he gets a chance to end his high school basketball career in style.
Fuchs finished with four points as Christ the King defeated Bishop Kearney 68-55 in the semifinals of the Class AA Federation Tournament of Championship Class tournament. The Royals play Long Island Lutheran in Saturday night's title game.
It was a night to remember for one of Fuchs' teammates as senior guard Jon Severe had 40 points and after the game found out he was the winner of the New York Mr. Basketball Award.
