Pre-game from Philly

Greetings from the City of Brotherly Love. I was in town early enough this morning to take a quick stroll around UPenn and, of course, run up the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum like Rocky Balboa.

Saw more than a few UConn fans tailgating in the parking lots here at Lincoln Financial Field. It's a beautiful day for football. Perhaps the fans are going to get as much tailgating in as possible because as of now, an hour before kickoff, there isn't a soul inside the stadium. Literally. Aside from the players warming up and security guys, there isn't a single fan in the stadium.

We knew Scott Lutrus was out. He was the lone member of the injury report. Looks like everyone else, as far as I can tell, is out there in uniform.

Check back for notes throughout the day.
