Yesterday former UConn fullback Anthony Sherman of the Kansas City Chiefs was named a second-team All-Pro by the Associated Press. Now he is set to return to his hometown of North Attleboro, Mass. to receive the Young Alumni Award at the North Attleboro High School Alumni Association's eighth annual awards reception on Jan. 31 at Highland Country Club.

Sherman graduated as North Attleboro's all-time leading rusher and was the Gatorade Massachusetts Player of the Year as a senior before heading off to UConn.
