UConn's Mateas to play in College Gridiron Showcase
Former UConn center Alex Mateas will be playing in the College Gridiron Showcase at Maverick Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Jan. 31.
Mateas started 29 games over three years for the Huskies at center, including all 12 games in each of the last two seasons. He is also the No. 2 rated prospect in the upcoming CFL Draft.
