UConn coaches were able to kill two recruiting birds with one stone during the bye week as they checked out not only receiver commit Nazir Williams but also nose guard Felton "Trey" Blackwell.

It proved to be a trip worth making as the 320-pound Blackwell out of Cedar Creek High in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey.

Williams' Bridgeton (N.J.) team defeated Blackwell's Cedar Creek squad 27-13 with Williams catching four passes for 40 yards.

Blackwell had seven tackles for loss and a sack as a junior.
