Gratz continues to impress for Jaguars

Former UConn cornerback Dwayne Gratz finished with a team-high six tackles while playing the first and second quarters in the Jacksonville Jaguars' 20-19 loss to Chicago in Thursday night's preseason game.

Gratz did get flagged for a couple of pass interference calls (one that was declined due to the result of the play) but he still looked pretty good for Jacksonville.

It was a different deal for former Husky Jordan Todman who only gained 18 yards on eight carries. He did have a 29-yard kickoff return and caught three passes for 24 yards.

In two preseason games Todman has carried the ball 13 times for 23 yards which is not the way to make a case for being the No. 2 tailback behind Toby Gerhart. There have been reports that former Central Florida running back Storm Johnson is pushing Todman for the No. 2 job although the rookie only had 35 yards on 14 carries. Former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson is the running back putting up the best numbers in the preseason with 70 yards in the games against Tampa Bay and Chicago.
